The Dassault Falcon 5X is a super mid-sized, long-range business jet under development in France by Dassault Aviation. Even though its range is not as high as that of the Falcon 7X, the 5X has a larger fuselage diameter and greater cabin volume. The first flight is scheduled to take place in 2015, with an entry into service in 2017. ==Design and development== While design work began in 2006 under the codename ''SMS'',〔 the development project remained secret in its details until it has been announced at the National Business Aviation Association annual convention in October 21, 2013.〔 As of the date of this unveiling, the "US$40+ million" range bizjets market, in which the self-financed 5X fits, was not greatly impacted by the Great Recession. The Rolls-Royce RB282 was selected as the aircraft's powerplant at the beginning at the project, but in 2009 the engine evaluation process was re-opened. The aircraft is now planned to be powered by two Snecma Silvercrests.〔 The cabin will also feature an unusual "zenith window" in the roof, allowing more light to come in. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Dassault Falcon 5X」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
